A 91 year-old Arnprior woman is safe- thanks to her alert neighbour, and the long arm of the Arnprior Fire Service ladder truck.
Chief Jeff Crawford tells Oldies 107.7 that firefighters got a call to the Central Station Lofts in downtown Arnprior over the lunch hour Thursday.
The Chief says it was necessary for the department ladder truck to assist in the firefighters’ entry.
Firefighters also stood in for paramedics who were on a call elsewhere.
The Chief says his crews don’t just fight fires; they apply their creativity to help everyone in the community as needed.
