Island View Retirement Residence thought it up, and the Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors at Home Program will benefit.
Eleven restaurants in Arnprior are participating in a chili “cook-off” competing for the title “BEST Chili in Town.”
Chili and a Bun on the Run is the title of the event, Thursday November 19th from 11AM onward.
Seniors’ Advocate, Darrel O’Shaughnessy, along with Walter Stack and Lynn Grinstead from Town Council, are the celebrity judges who will visit participating locations over the lunch hour that day.
Pick up your own “Chili and a Bun on the Run” for $10 any time between 11 a.m. and closing.
Try one, try them all, and see whose chili you prefer.
Participating Restaurants are: Antrim Truck Stop, Krave Bistro, Lumbertown Ale House, Mama Rosa, Mighty Fine Bakehouse, Milano’s, Negi Indian Cuisine, PJ’s Restaurant, Riverside Grill and Bar, Sweet ‘n’ Sassy and
Urban Farm Girls.
