The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 today.
With another two cases listed as resolved, the local health unit is aware of 15 active cases, all in self-isolation.
All three cases today are community members, two from Pembroke area and one from the Renfrew area.
There’s also four long-term care or retirement homes in an active outbreak.
Staff cases have been reported at Marianhill in Pembroke, Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew and a false positive at the Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior (after a staff member tested positive and later received negative test results).
The fourth Renfrew County long-term care or retirement home in an active COVID-19 outbreak has not yet been identified.
