A mandatory self-isolation order has been issued by the Acting Medical Officer of Health for the Renfrew County and District Health Unit.
Dr. Robert Cushman issued the Section 22 Order late Friday afternoon (October 30th).
The order pertains to you- if you are experiencing, or have encountered, any of the following:
Are a confirmed case or probable case of COVID-19; have signs and symptoms of COVID-19, or
have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting the results of your test.
You must also self-isolate immediately if you believe you now have one or more symptoms (even mild symptoms) of COVID-19; or are a close contact of a person diagnosed with COVID-19, or are a close contact of a person identified as a probable case of COVID-19.
The Section 22 Order came into effect today, Friday, October 30th (is now in effect), and is being issued to ensure that community transmission of COVID-19 is minimized or eliminated.
For details on what a close contact is, and for further instructions on self-isolation, visit the RCDHU Section 22 Order for Self-Isolation on the Health Unit website.
