Have you ever imagined Arnprior Mayor Walter Stack as a Halloween goblin?
Well maybe- when he was younger!
The Mayor’s message this month is full of advice for a safe Halloween celebration.
Stack observes that the RCDHU is encouraging virtual events, and activities that involve only those in your household.
If you do venture out, remember you need a real mask in addition to whatever comes with your costume.
Only trick or treat in your immediate neighbourhood during daylight hours, and
kids under 12 should make the rounds in groups of six, with adult supervision.
You’ll need to be using your hand sanitizer frequently.
Residents should be aware that people from Ottawa may try to infiltrate the local throng- so be on your guard against the spread of COVID.
The Town has cancelled its traditional haunted events at the NSC and firehall, but it is running a Pumpkin Carving contest and the Optimists have a costume contest.
