The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting another two new cases of COVID-19 today (October 26th).
The information from the local health unit also shows four additional cases listed as resolved for a total of 12 active cases.
11 cases in Renfrew County and District are self-isolating with one person currently in hospital, but not in intensive care.
One of the new cases today is a community member, the other is listed as a student.
The case summary from the health unit shows an additional student case in the Petawawa area from Herman Street Public School and one more community member in the Renfrew area testing positive for the virus.
Almost half of the local COVID-19 cases (44 of 91) have come from the Renfrew area.
All students and staff who have been deemed to be a close contact of the positive case, have been given direction to go home immediately and self-isolate.
The school remains open to in-person learning for all other students and staff.
