A staff member feared positive for COVID-19 at the Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior has been retested, and today’s result came back negative.
Consistent with RCDHU direction, the declared outbreak at the Grove is not over and all precautionary restrictions remain in place.
The Health Unit has also instructed that some residents be tested as an added layer of protection, and this was completed today.
The affected worker continues to self-isolate at home until directed otherwise, as a third test is required for reassurance.
Outbreak protocols remain in effect at the Grove, with now only one designated caregiver allowed to visit each resident.
All outdoor visits are suspended temporarily and recreation programs are on hold.
