
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP has charged a Pembroke man with child porn offences after breaching court imposed conditions.
Police say in July of 2020 the Crime Unit started an investigation after receiving information.
Last week (October 15th), officers executed a search warrant at a Pembroke home where electronic devices were seized and searched.
The OPP has charged 61-year-old James Edward Boose of Pembroke with six charges including:
- Fail to comply with prohibition regarding children – two counts
- Fail to comply with probation
- Voyeurism
- Possession of child pornography
- Makes, prints, publishes or possesses for the purpose of publication any child pornography
The accused was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until their next appearance on Thursday October 22nd.
