The provincial government is investing $550-million to build another 20 new schools in Ontario and renovate eight others. Education Minister Stephen Lecce says this means 870 child care spaces and nearly 16,000 new learning spaces.
The work will be completed in 2020 and 2021 and is part of the government’s efforts to improve and modernize schools.
