Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting in Madawaska Valley. Last week we told you that a Toronto area woman was shot while walking on a trail in the area of John Watson Road and Silas Lane. Killaloe OPP say the woman was airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At this point, police believe there is no risk to public safety. The Renfrew County Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation. Police believe that someone knows what happened and are appealing for information.
