Killaloe OPP are investigating a sudden death in Algonquin Park over the long weekend. Police were called out around 4:20 Saturday afternoon to a report of a capsized canoe at Opeongo Lake. Two of the three men in the canoe were towed safely to shore, after their canoe overturned. The third male identified as a 32-year-old of Toronto was pulled from the water a short time later, unconscious. He was transported to hospital where he later died. The man was wearing a life jacket and police have deemed the incident as non-suspicious at this time.
