This is Fire Prevention Week, and the Arnprior Fire Service has been busy with both regular and special duties.
One of those included conducting a Fire Drill Thursday morning with students.
Arnprior Fire Chief Jeff Crawford, who says the students enjoyed the visit from the crew- and Sparky the Fire Dog, who came masked up as a COVID precaution.
The Chief says whatever your age, this week’s theme message should resonate with us all.
“Serve up Fire Safety in the kitchen” is an awareness we should all carry with us, as unattending cooking blazes are the number one cause of domestic fires in Ontario.
