Motorists in Renfrew can expect intermittent delays this month and next as rehabilitation work on Raglan Street South (County Road 52) has been awarded and construction is about to begin.
Town Council has awarded the rehabilitation of Raglan South and Airth Boulevard West to the Carleton Place-based firm, Cavanagh Construction Limited.
The project will carry over into the Spring/Summer of 2021.
In addition to reconstructing the two streets, crews will be installing a watermain crossing Raglan Street South, storm sewer improvements on Airth Boulevard and the construction of a new asphalt multi-use pathway on the west side of Raglan Street and north side of Airth Boulevard.
This Fall’s work sees the installation of a watermain crossing Raglan South in 400 block of the street and there will be intermittent traffic delays.
