The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is not reporting any new COVID-19 cases today.
The local health unit is reporting another case as resolved today, with seven active cases in our area.
The RCDHU and the province of Ontario are reporting different numbers.
The daily epidemiology report released by Public Health Ontario is showing 53 cases in Renfrew County and District, while the RCDHU is only showing 52 confirmed cases.
This is the second time this week there’s been a discrepancy between the provincial numbers and local COVID-19 numbers.
Earlier this week the province reported two COVID-19 cases at Rockwood Public School in Pembroke, which was later revealed to be posted in error.
