The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 today bringing the total to 51 confirmed in our area.
With one additional case listed as resolved today, bringing the total number of resolved to 37, the health unit is currently aware of 13 active cases, all in self-isolation.
Two of the new cases today are community members in the Renfrew area and the other is a student case in the Pembroke area.
Yesterday afternoon the health unit confirmed the student case was from Our Lady of Grace Catholic School in Westmeath.
With three new cases today that marks 18 positive tests during the month of September.
There has been more cases of COVID-19 reported this month than the last four months combined (16 cases in May, June, July and August).
