Are you a small business within the boundaries of MRC Pontiac that’s been stung by COVID-19, and has had to adpat your business model to the new reality?
There’s good news from the Regional Municipality.
The COVID-19 Small Business Recovery Fund can provide non-repayable grants of up to 5 thousand dollars to help businesses shift their marketing and look to developing new markets.
The program has 70,000 dollars to be divided among successful applicants who operate an established registered business with less than ten full-time workers that has been in operation for at least a year within MRC Pontiac.
There are other legal and regulatory criteria.
All applicants provide proof of the negative impacts COVID has had, and how that has contributed to the decision to adapt your business model.
A committee will adjudicate your application and pay out fifty percent of your grant when it is approved and the rest when the project ends, upon submission of receipts.
Bimonthly reports will be required to the MRC’s Economic Development Department for a six-month timeframe.
Application deadline is October 23rd.
