One person from Pembroke and another from Renfrew have tested positive for COVID-19.
The case summary released today (September 8th) from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) shows 35 cases in our area, up two from what was reported at the end of last week.
One of the cases is from Renfrew and the other is from the Pembroke area.
The information from the health unit shows an additional community case and a health care worker employed in Renfrew County and District are the most recent cases.
The update from the local health unit shows one of the active cases in our area has recovered with three people currently in self-isolation.
The RCDHU has now confirmed 35 cases, 31 are considered resolved and one person has died from complications due to the virus.
