Busy week last week for the Renfrew OPP Detachment dealing with impaired driving incidents.
Last Thursday (August 27th) in Arnprior police stopped the rider of a motor-assisted bicycle and charged the 42 year-old McNab-Braeside resident with impaired driving and Over 80.
Saturday police attended a disturbance on Daniel Street South in Arnprior. A 42 year-old resident was charged with Over 80 and obstructing a peace officer.
A traffic complaint in Greater Madawaska led to a vehicle stop on O’Gorman Road in Renfrew where the 21 year-old Township resident was charged with impaired, Over 80 and two counts of failure to comply.
A single motor vehicle accident Saturday on Division Street in McNab-Braeside saw a 28 year-old Renfrew man charged with imparied and Over 80.
And police stopped an ATV on Hogan Driver in McNab-Braeside Sunday, charging the 36 year-old rider from Carleton Place with operating while prohibited.
Court dates for all of the accused have been set for Spetember 16th or Oct 7th sessions in Renfrew.
