2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group has welcomed a new Commander. Colonel J.T. Adair handed command of 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group over to Colonel J.E. Landry in an intimate ceremony last week. In lieu of a parade square filled with soldiers from 2 CMBG, the proceedings were live-streamed on the Brigade Facebook page. Colonel Landry will be the 16th Commander of 2 CMBG since its reformation in 1995. Landry says under his leadership, when soldiers from the brigade deploy they will do so well prepared and ready to execute the mandate handed to them by the Canadian people.
