One of the best things about your trip to the Renfrew Fair is the chance to purchase bacon-on-a-bun.
It’s been a Renfrew Rotarian tradition for the past quarter century.
Rotary’s Janet Springer says although this year’s Fair is a COVID casualty, the club didn’t want to deny you the mouth-watering opportunity.
Rotary is grateful for the chance to be able to serve up the popular taste treat; all of its other fundraising opportunities have been cancelled by the pandemic.
This year there is no music festival, no steak and lobster dinner, and no Rotary golf tournament.
Springer suggests you may want to consider donating the change from your order to the club so it can continue to do its good work in the community.
Bacon-on-a-bun is a one-day only event, Saturday September 12th at the Fairgrounds.
