There’s an effort starting up to address workplace challenges with recruitment and employee retention in Renfrew and Lanark Counties.
It’s an initiative that’s been in the planning stages for over a year, but Work Matters Project Lead Shelley More says the COVID crisis has magnified the need.
There have been some adaptations due to the pandemic, and a series of virtual round-tables begin August 10th.
More says Community Futures Development Corporations and Valley Heartland, the economic development wing in Lanark County, have provided her group with a list of prospective attendees for the virtual round tables, which will be moderated by Matt Lemay.
There are a number of ways to get in touch with Shelley and the Work Matters project.
