Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott says the province has reported its lowest number of new COVID-19 cases in a day since late March.
The province reported just 76 new cases of the coronavirus this morning, along with one new death.
There were also 174 cases newly marked as resolved.
Elliott says the number of people in hospital, in intensive care and on ventilators all dropped.
After recording three new cases in two days, the Renfrew County and District Health Unit has not reported any additional COVID-19 cases today (Wednesday, July 29th).
All three active cases in our area remain in self-isolation.
The local health unit says 17,808 tests have been completed.
An increase in 28 from the day before.
