The Renfrew Business Improvement Area is welcoming the arrival of Stage Three of lifting Ontario’s Emergency Regulations locally.
BIA Treasurer Mel Blimke says we’ve come through quite a period of grimaces and frowns.
The BIA spokesperson says many downtown merchants are anticipating the potential spill-over effect from folks being able to once again dine-in at local restaurants.
Blimke suggests the lack of tourists from the United States has had its economic impact on are area with plenty to come see and do- but hopefully “staycations” can tune locals up to the exciting prospects in their own backyard.
