Discounted biplane flights for the front line workers are coming to an airport near you: Sunday, July 26th in Pembroke- and this Sunday, (July 12th,) from 9AM to 5PM, at the Arnprior Airport.
Ottawa Biplane Adventures vintage aircraft are doing an old fashioned barnstorming circuit.
The firm’s Jeanine Rentschler shares the origins of the term, barnstorming.
Rentschler says Ottawa Biplane Adventures two vitage planes, from 1939 and 1940, are normally under contract with Canada’s Aviation and Space Museum.
With the Museum closed for the summer, the barnstorming circuit has turned into a COVID-19 opportunity.
Sunday’s visit is a tribute to frontline workers, who are being offered a special 35 percent discount during the excursion.
