About 1:15 this afternoon, officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Raglan Street, in the Town of Renfrew.
The collision involved a pickup truck and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, age 78 year old was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.
Officers remain on scene and the investigation is continuing with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members and OPP Collision Reconstructionist members.
Raglan Street remains closed between Renfrew Avenue West and Prince Avenue.
