One person has died after an early morning motorcycle crash. OPP officers, Military Police and Renfrew County Paramedics responded to a report of a motorcycle in the ditch on Paquette Road in Petawawa, Between Montgomery Road and Menon Road shortly after 12:00 a.m this morning. The initial investigation has found that the motorcycle entered the ditch, with the rider being thrown from the vehicle. The driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but later died. 42-year-old Darren Stiles of Deep River has been identified as the victim. The investigation continues, with the assistance of an OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigator.
