Hospice Renfrew’s new Executive Director is making her introductions.
Marjorie Joly takes over the role vacated by Caroline Magee who left the position when her spouse found employment in Kirkland Lake.
Marjorie also has a Northern Ontario connection, but has lived in the Valley the last twenty-five years.
Joly gives us a precis of her experience.
One of the challenges ahead for Joly is the bite COVID-19 has taken out of fundraising opportunities.
While Hike for Hospice was cancelled earlier this year, Marjorie says we can look forward to the annual Edward Jones Hospice Classic Golf Tournament, coming up Friday August 7th at Dragonfly Links.
