One of the two active cases in Renfrew County and District is currently in the hospital.
The numbers released today (June 15th) from the local health unit show the most recent case of COVID-19 is a community member in the Pembroke area.
The Renfrew County and District Health Unit says one of the active cases is in self-isolation and the other has been hospitalized.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital was previously declared the regional admissions centre for all COVID-19 cases in Renfrew County and District.
The RCDHU has confirmed 25 cases, 22 are considered resolved and one person has died from complications due to the virus.
