The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is not reporting any new cases of COVID-19 today (June 1st). The numbers released from the health unit show an increase in 47-tests from the day before.
The last confirmed COVID-19 case listed by the RCDHU was Thursday, May 28th, when three healthcare workers from the Renfrew area tested positive for the virus. All three of those healthcare workers are listed as employed outside of Renfrew County and District.
The numbers from the local health unit also show a 16th person who has now recovered. A total of 151 people are still waiting for test results to come back. The RCDHU says these stats do not include community clinics.
This week there’s more pop up COVID-19 testing stations across Renfrew County. Testing locations are in Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior, Pembroke, Petawawa, Barry’s Bay and Eganville.
