Environment Canada’s heat warning for the Ottawa Valley continues for at least one more day. Daytime temperatures in the low thirties are expected again today with humidex values in the mid-thirties. A cold front will bring a few showers and lower temperatures to Eastern Ontario tomorrow. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
