The Renfrew County and District Health Unit has revised the COVID-19 information to show 7-less cases in our area compared to what was previously reported. An update from the RCDHU yesterday (May 20th) at noon showed 25 cases of COVID-19, but several hours later the numbers dropped to 18 cases. The case information breakdown from the local health unit no longer lists deployed military members from Petawawa as active cases. The updated numbers show two active COVID-19 cases in Renfrew County and District with both individuals listed as at home self-isolating. The health unit says 15 of the 18 cases are considered resolved with one death. The RCDHU says over 2,700 tests have been completed with 145 people still waiting for results to come back.
