The community now has 24/7 access to a live video feed of the new Grove Nursing Home construction from the comfort of your rocking chair- or hammock.
The real-time footage can be easily accessed through the Arnprior Regional Health’s website.
Arnprior Regional Health Chief Executive Officer Eric Hanna says with the strong support the community has demonstrated for the home, providing the feed is a gesture of thanks.
The Grove redevelopment project has not been impacted by Ontario government’s public health restrictions during the pandemic and has continued to move forward, while instituting enhanced safety practices for its workers.
The concrete foundation walls are now done, and the current construction activities include doing the underground plumbing, backfill and masonry walls.
The project is more than 15 per cent complete and remains on budget.
The contractor is anticipating a slight delay of two weeks due to a supply disruption during the pandemic, but the target for completion remains summer 2021.
