Emilie Norris-Roozmon is a Masters-of-Science candidate at Queen’s University, and she tells us ticks are carriers of a raft of other ailments in addition to Lime Disease.
She says one thing common to ticks, no matter what disease they may be carrying, is their ability to cling to you.
Norris-Roozmon says by helping her with completing her survey, you are also advancing the knowledge of how to treat tick-borne diseases.
