The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is not reporting any new cases of COVID-19 today (May 11th). The health unit says an additional 151 people have been tested since Friday (May 8th) with 160 results still pending.
The RCDHU has confirmed 18 cases of COVID-19 including 12 resolved and one death. The local health unit is aware of 5 active cases in Renfrew County and District.

Over the weekend a staff member at Bonnechere Manor long-term care home in Renfrew tested positive for COVID-19. Warden of the County Debbie Robinson says the employee has no symptoms and is now isolated at their home to prevent the spread of infection to others. Residents and staff that were in contact with the staff member have been notified and infection management practices and procedures remain in place.
