The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) says 47-tests for COVID-19 have been completed over the past 24-hours. The last confirmed case of COVID-19 reported by the RCDHU was 4-days ago on April 30th. Across Renfrew County and District there are 16 confirmed cases, 12 resolved and one death, meaning the health unit is aware of three active cases.
Across Ontario, 370 new cases and 84 more deaths due to COVID-19 are being reported today (May 4th). That brings the provincial total to nearly 18,000 cases, including 1,300 deaths and more than 12,500 resolved cases. The new provincial total is 2.1% higher than the previous day, which is part of a downward trend.
