Mary Etmanski is a farm girl at heart, born and raised in Northcote on a hundred acre farm. She attended a one room school and loved working the farm. Mary attended RCI, and following high school she opted out of post secondary school. She has no regrets, everything she knows now has been because of hands on experience and learning from good people. Mary has held a variety of jobs through her work career, including reflexology, work in advanced foot care, as well as admin work for Family and Children Services.
Mike is a Renfrew lad, born in Renfrew and lived his younger years here. He moved away when he was a child, but returned a few years later. He lost his father when he was a teenager, prompting him to join the work force at a young age, including construction and warehousing with Bluebell Canada in the early 60s. Mike and Mary are actively involved with, and vocal advocates for the Renfrew and area food bank.
Theyʼve raised thousands of dollars for the local organization over the past couple of years with a very successful event featuring local musicians.
