UPDATE: The first responders tribute parade Friday in Renfrew has been CANCELLED
If you are looking for a reason to celebrate on May 1st, why not honour the community’s doctors and first responders by watching a parade?
Patty Dillabough, with the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation says at 3PM, Renfrew Fire Chief Kevin Welsh will have his contingent and invited colleagues take part in a parade to fete the local heroes.
The RVH Foundation Executive Director says what better day for it?
Dillabough says take part- watch the fire trucks make some noise, see what a socially-distanced parade implies, and honour physicians and first responders for their efforts on the community’s behalf.
