People helping people. We here at 96.1 myFM are partnering with the Renfrew Rotary Club in an effort to support our community during this challenging time. Helping at Home is an initiative to raise money through donations, money that stays locally to help those who need a helping hand. John Wilson, President of the Rotary Club, says they’re willing to up the ante in hopes of encouraging more donations.
Five dollars becomes ten dollars, ten dollars becomes 20 dollars, and every little bit helps. Wilson does admit COVID-19 has had an impact on their future fundraising, but he’s confident their finances are healthy enough to participate in Helping at Home.
Wilson says this initiative is something the Club can get behind and feels it’s important to ensure no one falls between the cracks during the pandemic.
No amount is too small and you can make your donation online or by mailing a cheque to the Rotary club. And if you need financial help, visit our website and fill out our online form. It’s absolutely, 100 percent confidential. People helping people, let’s do it together.
