Another death is being reported at a long-term care home in Carleton Place. Stoneridge Manor is a 60 bed facility with 51 residents testing positive for COVID-19, 12 staff members have tested positive and now 6 deaths are being reported.
At the Almonte Country Haven long-term care home 44 residents have tested at the 82 bed facility. Another 17 staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 with 25 deaths reported.
Fortunately no long-term care homes in the County of Renfrew are considered to be in a COVID-19 outbreak. Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke had a staff member test positive, but that individual has since recovered and the home is no longer in an outbreak status.
