More people are being tested for COVID-19 in our area with no new cases reported for yet another day. The Renfrew County and District Health Unit says over the past 24 hours another 52 people in our area have been tested with 14 more test results cleared. The total number of negative tests in our area has passed 1,000 with the number of confirmed cases remaining at 14 including one death and six resolved.
More good news in the fight against COVID-19. For the second day in a row the growth rate of new cases in Ontario is at the lowest it’s been for weeks. Also for the first time Ontario is reporting more than 50% of COVID-19 cases have recovered. In the past 24-hours the province is reporting 510 new cases and 37 more deaths.
