Ontario Premier Doug Ford says they’re starting to look at ways to re-open the province. Ford says the jobs and recovery committee is looking at ways to safely and gradually start easing up on restrictions.
Ford says there will be strict criteria and key benchmarks that must before any changes and the health and safety of everyone in the province must remain the number one priority.
Ford says the new modeling shows we’re trending towards a best case scenario in Ontario, but we still have a long ways to go.
The Ontario Premier says we did not shy away from difficult decisions and by listening to the experts and the everyone’s collective efforts we’ve avoided the worst case scenario and devastation seen in other countries.
