A methamphetamine and opioid bust has taken place in Pembroke.
Members of the of the OPPEast Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment seized a variety of illegal drugs at a Pembroke home Thursday.
At the Cecil Street location, officers seized over 100 suspected Methamphetamine and Oxycodone pills, nearly 200 suspected Percocet pills, Fentanyl patch backings, pieces of suspected Fentanyl patches and other items used in the trade.
Police also recovered stolen property, including a bicycle, video game systems and power tools.
Timothy Nicholas TURCOTTE, age 39 of Pembroke has been charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000, four counts of Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Samantha Dawn MCLAUGHLIN, age 31 of Pembroke has been charged with: Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 as well as three counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
The two accused were released on bail and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
