The Town of Arnprior says there’s a cost to maintaining essential services during the COVID-19 crisis.
Mayor Walter Stack says the lost-dollar figure is substantial.
Going forward, Arnprior’s Finance Department will provide elected representatives with monthly updates on the situation.
The Mayor says some remedial remedies have been sought to reduce the impact on this year’s Town budget- and more are contemplated.
Council its public meetings and any required behind-closed-doors sessions electronically as now allowed under the Province’s Emergency Declaration.
