No huge surprise, Pitch In Week is cancelled, not just locally but across the country. The week long initiative, which was slated to kick off April 19 and continue until the 26th, would normally see communities come together to clean up their neighbourhoods, streets or nearby parks by picking up garbage and debris left behind by the melting snow. However in the wake of COVID-19, the event has been pulled nationally and may be rescheduled for September, depending on how the COVID pandemic plays out.
