With rain in today’s forecast, officials are keeping an eye on the Ottawa River. The regulating committee warns levels and flows continue to rise gradually and with on-going snowmelt, we may see minor flooding in prone areas along the river between Fort-Coulonge and Montreal. Officials say we could see some parts of streets, lawns and parks begin to flood, but they do not expect any impact to houses or buildings. Officials say levels remain below major flood thresholds at the moment.
