The Township of Bonnechere Valley has a full list of resources for residents to access during the COVID-19 pandemic. A section of the municipal website has been dedicated to finding help during the health crisis.
The website has multiple sections with places for people to volunteer, showing what donations are needed, mental health resources, stores with special services, restaurants that are still open, boredom relief and more.
The COVID-19 tab on the town website is linked to the “It Takes A Village Eganville and Area” Facebook group. The group is intended for people who live within 25 km of Eganville including Douglas, Golden Lake, Foymount, Cormac, Pikwakanagan, Dacre and area.
Bonnechere Valley is reminding seasonal residents to not visit the area to help stop the potential spread of the novel coronavirus.
There’s also Facebook groups for residents in Whitewater Region and Barry’s Bay.
