The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior was declared on respiratory outbreak today (April 9th) by the Renfrew County and District Health Unit.
The nursing home says initial tests for COVID-19 have come back negative and more test results are pending.
Manager of Communications and Community Engagement for Arnprior Regional Health, Melissa McDermott, says the Grove is taking every outbreak precaution and has isolated impacted residents as part of the safety protocols.
McDermott adds it’s important to underline that ARH does not have confirmed COVID-19 cases. The Grove Team is monitoring the situation closely and working in partnership with the Renfrew County and District Health Unit to do everything possible to protect the health and safety of residents and staff.
