Starting tomorrow (April 9th), the province of Ontario is ramping up COVID-19 testing.
Premier Doug Ford says they want all long-term care residents, health care workers, first responders and more tested.
Ford says we should be doing 13,000 tests in Ontario per day.
The Premier also talked about increasing construction hours to speed up the building of essential health care facilities.
Ford thanked all the essential workers today and added that pharmacies and grocery stores will be closed on Friday and Sunday for the upcoming long weekend. Also truck drivers who stop at ONroute locations today can get a free coffee courtesy of the province of Ontario.
