Officials are investigating a fire at the Burnstown Beach. According to McNab Braeside Township, someone burned down the paddle equipment and rental shed around 11pm Saturday night. The fire comes just a day after the province announced restrictions on outdoor burning in an effort to keep emergency responders focused on the COVID-19 pandemic. The township is heartbroken the structure couldn’t be saved and asks anyone with information to contact the OPP.
