One suspect is facing charges in a case of a violent home robbery in Madawaska Valley Township back in February. Two masked marauders entered an unlocked door just after 330AM February 15th, assaulted and restrained the occupants and made off with beer, cash and cannabis products. On March 26th, Killaloe OPP, the OPP Emergency Response Team, and Lennox and Addington OPP officers executed search warrants in Barry’s Bay and the Village of Enterprise. This has led to the arrest of 41-year-old Shannon Bernard Finucane of Stone Mills Township. He faces 11 charges relating to the incident relating from disguise to assault, use of a firearm and related counts, confinement, theft, fraud, and flight. The accused is charged with violating probation as well. He is being held in custody pending a video appearance on April 9th.
